Today I have decided to give you a great example of how you can start your own niche blog, and the example I am giving you is actually one that you can start using yourself. I thought about how to start a niche blog, found one that “nobody” is using and one that I think can be a successful one.

Well, I must admit that it might not be the perfect niche blog even though it might sound like it when I am writing. But if you don’t like the example, you should just use this post as a way of thinking of creating your own niche blog. You don’t have to use this exact example (if you don’t like it), but you might want to use the “way I am thinking” when it comes to creating your own.

Now, it’s time to reveal the blog. Well, almost. First, what is a niche blog?

To be short, it’s a blog that focuses on a niche market and that’s a market not a lot of people are writing about (not the mainstream). For instance, I am writing about Internet marketing, creative ideas when it comes to marketing, that’s really not a niche market. A lot of people are doing the same, if I was going to focus on a niche, I might want to focus on a smaller topic that I find the most interesting inside the topic that I am already writing about.

It might be hard to find that topic, because you also want as many people as possible to be interested in the same topic. I could devote all my writing to AutoResponders, that’s a niche with a lot of potential. Another example is if you focus on a company and not a general one like AutoResponders, for instance Opera Watch - a blog about the fastest browser on earth. The guy behind it is only writing about Opera, all his posts are related to Opera and not browser technology in general.

Hopefully you understand what I am getting at, and now it’s time to reveal my niche blog (well, the one that I tought of that you can start if you want).

The working title is the grey hair blog (maybe you could use www.greyhairblog.com). The blog will be all about grey hair. Think about it; close to 100% of all people all over the world will get grey hair someday. In some cultures grey hair might be cool, in some cultures grey hair might not be so cool. Some people tries to hide the grey hair, others will not hide it. A lot of people want to know why we get grey hair and a lot of people are looking for a way to reduce them.

As far as I can see, there are no blogs about this topic alone. If you check the search engine traffic, there are many people searching for grey hair.

One problem (well, maybe not really a problem) is should you use grey hair or gray hair as your blog title? I am not really sure, but grey is the one isn’t it?

What do you think? Would it be interesting to dominate the niche market of grey hair?

One Response to “start using this Niche Blog idea Today”

Niche marketing is the way to go however one must do some research first.

A niche is a search term that gets lots of searches however there is a low supply of websites to match.

Find that, put up a website and monetize it.

Sounds simple, hu? It is actually a lot of work. If it were easy everyone would be doing it!
